I hear ya.

I'm not offended by it, but it is embarrassing for our University.

Song can stay, chant should go.

Bingo. The fact that our fans dont see it probably has a lot to do with why we are dead last in almost all categories one would want to be first. Geaux Louisiana..

We cant spell, live a full healthy life, or keep STDs at bay...but look at us screaming about sucking dick.

Same here. It’s very trashy.

My thoughts exactly. Leave the chant in the college bars. It’s very embarrassing to hear this at a game and know it’s also probably being picked up on tv.

How anyone thinks this makes LSU look good is beyond me.

This is a lame excuse. You should value what you learned, not where you learned it. There are people that went to community college that know more than LSU grads, and there are LSU grads that know more than Ivy League grads. Your worth isn't tied to the school. What people that attend a football game of the school you went to do is not a reflection on you. Until employers start refusing to interview LSU grads due to the STTDB chant, then it really doesn't matter.

That's a good summation of how I feel about it as well.

I agree with clamdip. Organized, systematic vulgarity detracts from our university. If I can go to the football games without hearing it (the vulgar chant) that is good.
I would say that the majority of those who attend the football games agree. Perhaps that is why the band is prohibited from playing the song.
As a matter of speculation, I would think the band would prefer that the chant be discontinued so that they can play the song which they have put effort into perfecting.

Totally agree about the chant it's retarded and sick. The music is bad arse though and it needs to stay.
