re: "I was imprisoned for my beliefs. I want to give the government more power"

Kicking someone out of a country is far worse than forcing them to pay reasonable taxes.
Not really. But we're not talking about kicking them out the country. We were talking about your hypothetical community starting from scratch.

The government uses threat of violence, imprisonment, and fines to make sure you pay your taxes. How is that not theft? If I take a gun, point it someone's face, take their money, a theft ... took place.
Not if you were hired by a community to collect taxes and a member of that community was refusing to pay taxes that the community agreed to levy as a condition of being part of that community.
Killing someone isn't always murder. Punching someone isn't always assault.
Taking someone's money isn't always theft.
And getting older isn't always growing up.

Taking = sharing
They don't even know the meaning of basic words.

That's not same as saying "taxation is theft". You sound like you are unhappy with certain aspects of the current tax and spend scheme.
I'm with you on that, just don't start imagining the Putty will ever live a tax-free existence.

Chelseas political views are of a child. Simplistic and silly.

When you said this before, I said this

So what would you do when a member of the community wanted to share in the benefits of living in a community but refused to contribute?
The threat/use of force is also inescapable.
You responded that we should "kick them out of the community". What would this look like in America in 2020?

Mob politics = theft.
Taking anything that belongs to someone else by force is theft.

Again, that was the response to your hypothetical startup community.
Try to pay attention please.

Anybody that says the rich don't pay taxes should not be taken seriously in any way. We have a ridiculously progressive tax system here.

My premise is that the same principles apply regardless of the size of the community, once it gets beyond family-sized.
But if you need a specific question:
What should we do to people who refuse to pay taxes in modern day America?

He wasn't imprisoned for his beliefs. He was imprisoned for passing along top secret information.

According to Google, the first known taxation took place in Egypt about 5,000 years ago. It might be time to stop melting about the CONCEPT of taxation.
If you started a human community from scratch, you would need a sharing of responsibilities for it to work, and it would eventually evolve into a tax. It's inescapable.
And frankly the "taxation is theft" mantra is childish and boring.
You still didn't explain how forcibly taking money from someone isn't theft

Also not an answer, but thanks

OK, I will summarize social contract theory for you.
If you choose to live in a given society, you implicitly agree to pay part of the cost of maintaining that society,
This theory does not work for a totalitarian society, where you cannot leave. We are not such a society. You are free to leave.

I'm aware of the social contract theory.
Why won't people just admit that it's legal thievery?
When people are executed, the cause of death is listed as homicide. Why won't people just admit that it's a government sanctioned theft campaign?
