There are videos circulating now showing I assume police officers barricading people who have been to Wuhan in there homes but naturally can't verify it but worth saying I suppose.

My company (several hundred thousand employees, global) just shut down all scheduled business to and from China, including canceling several high profile workshops.

The patient just came back from Wuhan and did not tell anybody about it. Never the less he still went visiting neighbors and playing mahjong everyday until became ill today. The video shows angry villagers attacking his residence at Rongshu Garden,Jiangyou city, Sichuan province.
The Chinese sure appear to be giant assholes. Videos of them spitting on pharmacy workers.

So people are going out of their way to willingly spread this, and again, we are supposed to believe it was naturally occurring and not developed in the bio lab there?

Like my grandpa use to say......hide and watch what I’m telling you.

Its the Chinese version of the Ice Cream Lick Challenge.

I’m still curious how easily it’s spread... seems like if it was easily transmitted, we’d have a crap ton more cases in other countries.
The Japanese one is explainable.. potentially being on a bus for 8 hrs with someone coughing. The one in Germany likely from eating and drinking together.

Sure the first case I would imagine. However patient 2 (the man infected by the Chinese national) than transmitted it to 3 other people. Sure they all worked together but how much contact did they have together? They said another 40 employees are also under watch.

The first cases in other countries has only shown up in the last week. Going from exposure to symptoms doesn't happen overnight. It might be anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks until you experience symptoms.
We don't know how contagious it is. It appears to at the very least be as contagious as the flu. It would be nice to understand the Germany case better. I am sure the German doctors and epidemiologists and scientists are taking a hard look at that case right now to understand how easily it is transmitted.

interesting. because ours hasn't, nor have they pulled our folks over there back. only preventative i'm aware of is that folks coming directly from China self quarantine themselves by working from home for 14 days until told otherwise. we don't seem overly concerned about it at all.
