And tough as nails to hunt. You gotta be dedicated to run to the pipeline canal and then pile in a pirogue and push pole in about half a mile to set up. Most are at the gate for 4am to start too.

I'm still tough... just not as motivated as I once was... I will say this.. I have had to work significantly harder for ducks this year... and in many cases it meant LOOOONG walks or paddles in - rather that boat, truck or atv so that we could end up in the middle of ducks at sunrise and many people my age that i wanted to bring were like ... OH FACK Thatn.. noticed at several spots - walk in ducks stay, ride atv or truck close to blind - they evacuate....
