Hum... I think they are maybe saying that they burn about the same amount of fuel; that drive would be in the neighborhood of seven gallons.
This is comparing apples to oranges; my turn-
A G550 burns about 500 gallons per hour. Flying from LA to NYC takes over four hours ~ 2,100 gallons each way. So when DiCaprio flys from a movie set to some UN bs in New York to lecture me about the climate he’s burning over 4,200 gallons of fuel... I can do an awful lot of weed eating with that.

I'd be perfectly ok with outlawing gas powered leaf blowers.
No one needs leaves blown out of their yard at the expense of everyone in a quarter mile radius hearing to be shot because of its 150 dB sounds.
