This was his answer when asked what his main takeaway was from media day.

He was talking about the size difference between the two schools.

Also said Oklahoma looked like they did not want to be there and LSU was personable like always.

The overconfidence and hyperbole are seriously beginning to concern me.

I have no doubt in my mind this game will not be close.

LSU - 45
OU - 17

I noticed this morning OU players as well as Riley seem to be tense and LSU players and coaches were relaxed. I don't know how that is going to translate to what happens on the field but i would perfer our guys to be relaxed instead of tense.

Sallee is the same guy who mentioned all the reasons why Ohio State was the CLEAR number one a few weeks ago. Most of it had to do with schedule. Auburn was middle of the road , Florida was average, and Texas was hot garbage. OSU had faced a top ten PENN ST team, Cincinnati is an above average team, and Michigan was as good a win as Auburn, UF, or Texas. Today he said Auburn would be the best defense in the playoff, didn’t mention UF, and has changed his description of the Texas game. He also made note of how not explosive Penn St, Michigan, and someone else was.

He is 100% full of shite and talks out of both sides of his mouth in the same damn radio show on Sirius XM, and I’ve lost respect for Luginbill because Luuuugs literally just agrees with whatever Sallee says.

I watched alot of the media coverage today, and certainly noticed the difference in demeanor between the 2 teams. However, I took it as OU being extremely focused and with a chip on their shoulder. They almost seemed aggravated about having to continue to answer questions about how they match up against such a good team...from the standpoint that they really are not as impressed as everyone else.

The reality is that LSU is a complete team. While the defense may come across as a weakness, we have dudes everywhere. OU has a guy here, a guy there, etc...but they have huge holes in certain areas.

Anything can happen, and OU's holes may close up. That's why they play the game.

Man i really hope we come out to play because the way the media, players comments and especially the rantards are talking like OU is some low level OoC beginning of the season cupcake... i think we win but this will be far from an easy game.

Damn that's crazy. I swore that oklahomas players that I saw on sec networks coverage looked kinda small...except for Murray their lb, he's legit and a really good size dude. Even their dt that was interviewed by Spears and tebow looked small compared to fehoko when he was on there. We are a bigger faster more athletic team for sure. Which is why we are favored by two tds over them. LSU is without a doubt the more talented team and better team and should win this game...we will have to give them the game by playing horrible and turning the ball over, something we haven't done all season so why would I believe Oklahoma will be different? We should win this game and cover the spread. But, you have to play the games on the field, so let's geaux handle our business and play like we have all year long and we will be fine. Geaux Tigers. Kick that boomer Sooner **** arse!
