You tell them the truth. If they are good enough they will start. If not they won't. This is football not girl scouts.

Well, I have been an LSU fan since birth. I can start in the SEC at QB. I will suck, but I can start.

SHOW ME MY LOCKER!!!!! - Play on Jerry McGuire.

If LSU was 7-5 right now the board would be talking about the next LSU coaches. In college football it is all that matters. Look at Nick Saban. Your loyalty pitch is cute, maybe pretty but those terms are for figure skating and gymnastics. Maybe you should follow them.

There is an element of how you run your program that I care about

LSU probably has a drama dept that is more up your alley. This crying over possibly bringing in a player to compete and make the team better is making me cry - NOT!!!

treating guys in the program as jut pieces of meat (not saying you are, just explaining where I come from).

Where are you coming from? And why are you on a football message board? This is getting really weird. Are you sad????

quote:

This isn't the pro game where I think you can justify being more ruthless towards talent acquisition. I don' want to default to all transfers are bad, because that isn't true, but in this case, I think Brennan has, to use an old phrase, shown chest and we should try to reward that if we can.

If you aren't a chick you are a weird emotional and sensitive MoFo. You should take a break to get your emotions under control. Nobody is taking anything away from your boyfriend Myles. He may win the job even if they bring in King. Don't fret darling.

Are you worried that Drew Brees is the Saint's QB?

So if Drew Brees can do it at 5’11”, anyone can?

It’s basically like having another running back but he also completed 64% of his passes for 36 TD’s

You don’t think Brennan could do that at Houston playing Tulane and rice week in and out?

I think this staff would only go in another direction if Brennan's just not good enough. They gave that shot to McMillan, Narcisse and Brennan before Burrow and none of them could get the job done. So I don't think there's any concern that they aren't being loyal. Brennan will get the first crack at this.

Now leading up to the spring game, this is his final shot. It's all on him at this point.

The competition is comparative among AAC schools. Just like the SEC except the SEC has its bottom feeders. Not saying the same but the conference teams are on somewhat level playing fields.

The question would be if Brennan could do that at Houston playing Tulane and Rice IF the QB who is one of only six EVER to be responsible for 50 TD's in a season was on the same team at the time.

Don't try to change the subject like the other morons who totally ignore the fact that the quote I replied to was only about the poster being worried about height.

I watched King play against Tulane. The dude was missing WRs all over the field.

And his season stat line is indicative of an inaccurate QB. Completion % is 52.7. That is not good.

Help me out. What is the infatuation with this guy?

Maybe check out his other full seasons of play instead of a 4 game sample size in a new offense

He has not played a lot of QB. He played 4 games his sophomore season and 11 in his junior season before he got injured. Yes, in his 11 game season he became one of only six QB's EVER to be responsible for 50 TD's or more.

How was Jeaux Burreaux's stats in college before LSU? How were his stats his first season at LSU?

Was Jeaux a WR only when he started college?

Jesus dude, what universe have you been living in? Read this thread if you are confused and think people are infatuated with anything other than their idiocy. WTF is wrong with you?

he's a solid qb and a great player. fit like a glove in herman's system. would be a great fit with mullen, meyer, etc.

it wouldn't hurt to bring him in, but i don't think he'd beat brennan.

i mean, if there's an extra scholarship laying around.

Because Joe Brady has an exceptional Twitter game, and he hopes to learn new social media techniques?

It’s the way he quit on his team being the starting qb.

You should look at the first few pages of the thread before displaying your idiocy. The coach quit on the team. He was a casualty of the drunk idiot.

The bottom line is if the coaches like what they see then obviously they have the sample size that is satisfactory and we should support the decision. Maybe Brady is thinking of ways to use King in combination with Brennan in situational offensive football.
