Christmas package sent from FL on Dec. 13 still has not reached destination on east coast. Hoping for a Christmas miracle, it may arrive today by 9PM. IF Santa still has his touch, if the ponies have been watered, and if the stars align just right.

We could have walked the package faster.
And the Pony Express is likely to have delivered it faster too.

Let's hear it for the US Post Office and utter inefficiency!

Merry Christmas y'all!

I made an order last week, from a company in Indiana on Thursday, It arrived to me, in Central Alabama on Saturday evening. Priority mail.

You mentioned "East Coast". Those 2 words, speak volumes to me.

Tell her to stay on top of it, raise he-- with the postmaster, file a complaint, and demand her money back for postage and all the registered fees.

This was a package with gifts from a family member! And I do use Prime which, btw, has been going down the toilette lately too. I am getting too many delays in delivery, too many 'delivery date has changed' situations from the river and am re-evaluating what my $119 a year is getting me.

I had a package that was shipped priority next day delivery through USPS. It got to me a day late and they could only say "Oh well it's the holidays and we have a heavy volume". If that's the case don't take the fricking money for guaranteed next day delivery.

You should definitely ask for your money back because they failed to fulfill service you paid for. Next day is mighty expensive!

Ordered the wife a pair of shoes from England. Ordered on 12/5. All I know is that it made it to New York. Who knows when it’ll actually get here.....

I placed an order through Amazon for a gift for my daughter on 12/17. It was scheduled for a Prime delivery. Unfortunately, the United States Postal Service was/is the carrier of choice.

Still haven’t received it. Apparently stuck in Alabama somewhere. I type this because this is at least the third or fourth time this has happened through Amazon using USPS. Never have had an issue with FedEx or UPS.

Quit your plainin'. I'm absolutely amazed that I can walk into a post office, give the postal guy $.53 for a STAMP, and have him deliver it to Alaska in 3 days, and it gets there, for $.53. A Stamp! A sticky STAMP.

Not a horror story, but also had USPS troubles this year. My Mom sent our Christmas packages through USPS and used tracker. She called to let us know they were delivered when she saw on line they were. However, we didn’t receive them. After she called USPS and they investigated she was told they couldn’t deliver them because they didn’t have access to our gated community. I don’t live in a gated community. Supposedly they were finally delivered, but we didn’t receive them. A couple of days later they showed up after being delivered to another resident in our neighborhood. At least we got them. I’ve had much worse experiences with USPS, this is kinda the norm.

Email will get it there in about 15 seconds.

I had a garbage disposal and a vintage $100 note marked as delivered, but never got them . They probably put them in the wrong box as I get items for others frequently and return to the correct address, but unfortunately I don't get the same courtesy. Anything of importance or high value, should require signature or buy insurance. Will do from now on.

Kind of your fault for using the USPS.
