Graduate from Stanford this year, and would be perfect fit for LSU

A guy who couldn’t start for pro style Stanford. Yea. Just what we need.

We have tried a Stanford graduate a couple years ago.
No Thanks. We have the quarterbacks that we need.

Why do people continue to doubt Brennan?
Posted on 12/23/19 at 9:06 pm to redstone
Nope. Until Brennan proves that he cannot defeat SEC teams and doesn’t stack up W’s, he’s going to be LSU’s starter

Wut
He’s a 3 year starter
A lot of people in this thread proving they don’t watch CFB outside of the SEC

You’re gonna get a lot of downvotes from people that have probably never seen the guy play but I wouldn’t be against it. When he was last healthy for a full season in 2018 completed 65% of his passes was 2nd team all Pac 12 and had 30 TD’s. Big tall guy with a strong arm has great touch on the deep ball. Will get drafted more than likely wherever he ends up next year. Was a projected mid to late round pick before going down this year. However if we’re going after a transfer QB I want it to be D’Eriq King who was the 2nd best QB in the country statistically last year only behind Kyler Murray.

Brennan has earned the right to be given first shot. There are question marks though. First off, Brennan is unproven at this point. Secondly, what if he gets hurt, do we have a capable back up?
A transfer portal QB is a real possibility. You can't let a season go to waste because you have one capable QB and he gets hurt.
We might evaluate the freshmen QB first, but you better believe the staff is open to this possibility. If not
Costello, maybe King or maybe Jett Duffey.

I am a fan of Costello, but I am not sure any grad transfer would be able to come in and take the starters position considering Brennan already knows the offense.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him end up at UGA if fromm bolts
I would have preferred Jake Bentley to Costello if LSU were to take a grad transfer QB
But at this stage, LSU coaching staff is obviously betting on Brennan to be the guy in 2020

You do realize Burrow was unproven too right. Lets give Brennan a chance, kid has waited his turn for the keys.

J. Duffey from Texas Tech best fit for LSU’s offense.
Wouldnt mind him being brought in.

I hope Brennan is great, but him having waited for his chance is not a good enough reason for him to start. He should start because he is absolutely the best option available, including the transfer market. And after the dust settles that may very well be the case, but we can't assume it's the case at the moment.

Coach O will never bring a quitter into his program. King quit his team. Plus he could never beat out Brennan and the coaches know it.

I don’t know if I’m missing something, but Andrew Hatch went to Harvard.
