It’s a low cost high margin product. I make my own pizza periodically including dough from scratch and I can make 10x the amount of pizzas that I can buy.

Some of them were plain cheese, some were pepperoni, some were pepperoni and mushroom, etc.

They didn’t give an itemized receipt. Those pies were on time, though.

I'll occasionally feed our family of 3 with one large pizza for like $12-15. That's about as cheap of a meal as I can think of other than dollar menu fast food.

Same here. Put them on the stone on the egg.

Ya can make a pizza that blows anything you’d have delivered out of the water for less than $10, depending on your toppings.

Fresh mozzarella is the most expensive topping when we make them here.

Pizza is cheaper now.
I remember as a kid seeing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the movie and they get a single Dominos pizza and it was like $20 but they took money off because it was late. I thought it was high priced and odd they weren't free if over 30 minutes.

This is the one thing that stood out when I watched this movie last year for the first time in 20 years.

I don’t know why, but I hate it when people refer to pizza as a pie.

Competition has kept prices low. I also feel like the price per pizza was high versus the national average in the early 90’s. If I’m primarily servicing extremely affluent neighborhoods in the Chicago suburbs, I’m making sure there’s a substantial markup.

We just finished watching. I was surprised to see half gallons of milk for like $1.14 when he went grocery shopping.
