All the people mad about telling la kids to look elsewhere. If LSU is upfront and helping the find spots which I wouldn’t be surprised then I’m ok. But if they hold a kid till the final minute and see ya! Then that’s bs.

Who knows how it goes and maybe every conversation is different. Maybe it's grades, character, spots left, etc., but I'm sure most get approached differently. I hope they at least leave on cordial terms because you never know who you could be recruiting out of JUCO again in 2 years.

These kids do not need help finding landing spots. They will all be highly sought after

Did O go visit him? I am guessing the ones O doesn’t go visit “ get the message.”
reminder: he only gets 5.

sending a message would be only a phone call and no visit whatsoever. or neither.

O gets more than 5. He's already made 5 this week. He gets one per prospect. 5 is the amount of officials a kid can take.

I'm not a fan of the Burns situation, or Lee or anyone else, just not my way, however I get it. O made it pretty clear he wanted the best 25 that the staff sees fit according to talent and positional need. They have higher kids on the board so it is what it is. They just better hit more than they miss or this board will be horrible.

RB isn't Milton. He's seriously considering going to UGA for bowl practice and skipping the all Star game similar to Stingley last year.
I can see Keyvonne Lee being one. Demarkus Bowman was one but he seems locked in. Gibbs is obvious. The mystery 3rd guy is anyone's guess. Don't think it's McClellan. If he doesn't go to Oklahoma it's likely Bama. He's publically said they are the only other school he's considering. Who knows though.
WR is up for grabs if true. Not sure why we'd take a 5th but no issue with it.

It’s crazy that we are letting go of kids that will end up at programs like Oklahoma

Agreed.

We will likely face at least a few of the kids we process because they’re definitely SEC material.

As long as we are getting kids that would end up at Alabama and Clemson I’m good...

Heard this as well. Skill position reload as expected along w/ returners make TP and DL move likely. TP could have a even tougher time getting consistent snaps next season with so much depth.

I'm not addressing kids that enter the program and don't pan out. I'm speaking of kids that commit to LSU, end their recruitment, and never get to join the program because LSU finds someone "better". We tend to eviscerate a kid who does exactly what LSU does all the time - but when we move from a kid "it's just business"...sounds like a double standard.

Welcome to the recruiting board. Actually surprised the uproar about Louisiana kids hasn't been worse.
The part of it all that I hope this board learns, don't get bent out of shape the next time someone comes in a swipes a LA kid we want. Considering we are cutting lose instate kids should nullify all that he "how can a LA kid not go to LSU" or "I hope he plans to stay out because he'll never get a job in LA now" bs.

Interesting. I remember you were always hinting at K Lawrence, but he recently shut his recruitment down. Let's see if Williams wants to come on down to DBU

Is Florida the team to beat in this one? His tweet says he will not sign until NSD
