Did anyone notice that Brees seemed to do something to his throwing arm.

You could tell he hurt it and then it showed him rubbing it on the sideline. He seemed to have a little different throwing motion as well.

The hit I was referring to was 3rd qtr. I was at the game so I must of missed what you’re talking about.

It looked to me like if you’ve ever popped a muscle/tendon in your forearm. I had one cut loose and it’s a mofo.

Needed surgery to get the use of my middle finger back.

Brain could have been filling in the blanks but I seem to remember him taking a helmet to the elbow on the last drive.

There was a play he got hit while throwing and his bicep hit the defender’s shoulder pad and/or his elbow

Probably just a bruise.

I saw him throw a pass to Thomas near the end of the game for about 35-40 yards that was perfectly dropped in over several defenders. You see that?

ya, he took a helmet direct to his bicep in full throwing motion, that had to be painful, i was scared shite less holding my breathe thinking he could have broken it there.

i think thats why he threw it to the ground on the 2 point play. i think it was sore and affecting the throw

i bet he has a hell of a bruise tomorrow

Yeah that throw for the 2pt conversion was no where close to being completed. And he was still flexing his arm during the last 49er drive.

I mean that throw wasn't the best set throw either. He threw off his back foot iirc.
