Pools are kinda trashy.

Plus they freeze in desirable places to live.

With kids yes, without them not so much. It is kinda like a boat, it is better to have a friend with one than own one, I foolishly own both.

Not really a problem if you keep up with chlorine &/or salt. Only about once a week. Leaves in the fall are somewhat of a problem.

Frick yes it is.

The kids play in it constantly.

It’s hot for 9 months of the year.

There is something great about watching LSU football and baseball games while floating in the pool with a beer.

When the kids friends come over, you get to see the other moms in bikinis.

You can frick your lady in the pool whenever you please.

The upsides to a pool so greatly out weigh the negative.

No, and now with these fools on the tv shows doing their thing I don't even feel like a plain old swimming pool is sufficient anymore, putting it even further out of reach.

Just put in a spa, love it (not the pre-fab shite, a custom built in-ground). Like a small pool.

Yes, an in ground one and would not do it again. Kids used it a lot when kids, but we seldom use it anymore., maybe 8-10 times throughout the summer. Too much wasted $$ and time on upkeep.
I would consider an above ground one just so the kids can have something, but would get rid of that when they out grow it.

Yes, but we purchased the house with it. Let someone else spend the $50k and the headache.
We love the pool

Yes and its no hassle at all. Had one with a hot tub put in 2 years ago. Im in the hot tub now watching the LSU game. Pay to have it serviced once a week, around $150 per month.
