You could discount the yardage stats somewhat because of how offenses are run these days and the fact that the rules are even more tilted in favor of the offense than they were in the 90's. But the stat that jumps off the page is the completion percentage. Almost 80% is an absurd and mind-blowing number. Joe's accuracy is Brees-like. And it's not just that he's throwing completions. He's hitting his guys right in stride so that they can keep running and add on some YAC.

That's true but at the same time you have to look at attempts. Wuerffel had 61 more attempts, Leaf had 111 more, and Manning had 178 more. And we're talking about full seasons versus 9 games. That's just mind blowing to me.
