This isn’t a Les Miles coached team. This staff and these players are hungry and they’re gonna eat every game this year. If they get beat, it’s because the other team was better on that day. There’s no doubt that we have the best team in college football, but everyone knows that the best team doesn’t always win.

But it won’t be because we played down to our competition and lost...that much is evident from watching this team play.

he has a point, A Les coached team would play down to opponent and this year we have not done that. Big Dick Joe will have this team ready, he wont allow them to get complacent.

Even if there were (I don't think they will) one or two players fall into the "trap", there are so many team leaders that would put a boot in their arse to get them going. Trap game? It ain't happening.

Isn’t a trap game a lesser opponent sandwiched between 2 good opponents? Wouldn’t this be more of a “let down” game?

Not just Joe, but I'm sure Coach is telling his players what it's like in Oxford for LSU week. Those guys want to beat LSU more than just about anything, it's a true rivalry game. They are going to be fast and loose and thinking they can play with LSU.

Orgeron is probably telling his players to take Mississippi seriously, and just shut that shite down. Be professional, and don't fall for the taunting, dirty play, or any of that shite trying to get LSU out of their game. Orgeron does NOT want to lose to Mississippi any year, much less this one.

Yes. Similar to the Arkansas game last year. Where this almost exact team (minus Brady), had to hang on to beat a god awful Hog team that finished 2-10 (0-8 in SEC) 24-17. A Hog team that was much worse that this Ole Miss team.

yes, thank you!! its amazing how many people don't know what a "trap game" is. Nobody is looking ahead to Fayetteville junior College nor are they looking 2 games ahead.

I get what you're saying. But that arkansas game came right after being embarrassed at home by bama and no longer had the west to play for.... much different situation this time around

NO way, Coach O lets a College that fired him not have his guys ready.

Not only will Coach O not allow that, Joe Borrow will be on everyone's azz also.

Ole miss will played fired up the first half, you have the National # 1 team on your home field, but it will get ugly the 2nd half for Ole Miss.

I do not think we will see much of a let down. This team has been grinding away, no problem.
