Not the biggest boudin fan, but headed to Birmingham this weekend. Friend of mine asked me to bring him some. Whats the best in Baton Rouge?

Ronnie’s or cross the river for some smoked boudin from Bergeron’s

Jerry Lee's on Greenwell Springs or Ronnie's on Florida Blvd.
Day's in Watson is real good too if you feel like making the drive. Get yourself a deer burrito. You will not be dissapoint.

Nah...not if he’s asking about in Baton Rouge. Pickings are slim there for boudin. If he’s cross West if the Mississippi, then the number of options would open up.

If limited to BR, Ronnie's, Chris' Specialty Meats or Hebert's.
If crossing the River into WBR, skip Bergeron's and go to Benoit's in Addis.
Bergeron's great for a lot of things, just not boudin.

If you go to Ronnie’s watch out for chunks of fat and bone gristle. This is the only place I’ve ever experienced this at.
Jerry Lee’s if you want regular boudin
Day’s if you want smoked boudin or some boudin balls.

Best Stop Smoked Boudain, shut it down, thread over.
They sell it on BR grocery stores now. My mouth is currently burning in bliss

Canatella's
Bland. Used it to stuff Cornish hens and had to add green onions and Slap Your Mama once I had taken it out of the casings.
