No doubt more stuff will come out. Several women on another site have claimed he's been dirty for years. Allegedly he carried a polaroid camera with him to snap pics of young women in exchange for letting them out of traffic stops. What ghouls these two were.

What year was your child taught by her? I know she served children sweets 2016-2017 school year. Cupcakes, brownies, cookies etc... Now I’m a mess wondering if my child was affected. I’m hoping and praying this is just a terrible rumor.

Doesn’t the local DA either have to formally recuse themselves, or request the State AG office to assist in a case before the Louisiana Attorney General handles a case?
Livingston’s recusal was likely a formality so the AG can move forward handling the prosecution.

She wasn’t married to Perkins in 16-17.

The LP DA has recused himself, so that leaves La AG Jeff Landry to prosecute on state charges, along with the feds to charge them with any federal charges. They are in some deep trouble for sure. La AG Jeff Landry has aspirations for a higher office, such as Governor, US Senator, etc., therefore that means he will not go easy on them. Not that he should, if found guilty. Again going by the so-called presumption of innocence until proven guilty, so please don't mistake that for my saying they are innocent.

Landry handling the case seems to go counter to the claims upthread that this would be plead out well before it reached trial.
Given the charges and the types of sentences they are facing, about the only way I see a plea deal at the moment is if they can give up someone else, such as Ard or a bunch of other dirty LPSO deputies.

Apparently the friends & family/good ole boy network is alive and well in LP. There was a very bad situation a couple years ago at Walker Elementary, and the principal should have taken some heat for it. It turns out her husband is on the school board and she's still employed there.
