Not hearing much chatter around Ard suddenly dropping into the conversation with the LPN editor a remark about an OCS investigation occurring after the creepy sleepover. We know Nak reads this. Lots of questions: is it true at all, is the fact there was one more entity investigating this situation a clue that SOMEONE took it seriously and DID report it elsewhere (and who would that person be? Cop's wife? Perkins' wife at the time?), when did Ard find this out (he said he just heard, but...), was it ethical for him to mention this if you're not supposed to identify a victim (and a minor one at that), and how did he find out about it if it was "closed and expunged"? For someone who is PO'd about rumors, isn't that a big one thrown out there that's unverifiable and just happens to attempt to back up Ard's opinion that no crime occurred? It's around 11:18 into the interview:
LPN/Ard Interview After Press Conference
Also FWIW, 9:30 in is where Ard discusses the supposed affair between the BRPD cop's wife and Perkins. Not sure if anyone is acknowledging this really happened, but it is convenient to cast doubt over the BR cop's motivation for reporting something that "wasn't a crime."
