I want to follow up on this because its the main issue that I have with my French Press. I notice that its hard for me to get a consistent grind with my coffee grinder. It's an inexpensive electric grinder and I inevitably end up with some of the coffee way too fine. I've been having the same problems. Bought some chemex type filters and pour through after pressing. It makes a huge difference especially in a morning cup.
