Looking for a quiet, well mannered yet somewhat aggressive tire for an f250. I use it for towing a large boat mostly, but also hunt with it. I don't take it off road per se, but with the heavy diesel and stock Michelins it's a liability to park in the grass. I would likely keep the factory size- not looking to go big, towning is still the main objective. The two tires I mentioned in the title seemed like they would fit the bill, but looking for personal experience with either. Would like to have little to no road noise.

Nitto ridge grappler is a great tire. I had them on my f150 and had well over 15k on them and they showed no signs of wear. they are quiet and ride very well. they will do fine for what you want. several guys in here have them as well and like them.

Toyo OC R/T is what I have now. Great tire and will definitely get another set when the time comes

Give Hunts Tire a call. They are off Greenwell springs road. That is where I got my RT's at. $200 cheaper than anyone else. Can't go wrong with the RT's

They're all quiet when new. I had duratracs and loved them. But, at half tread these tweener AT's have the mannerisms of a MT with less pull. Weight and fuel mileage is more comparable to a MT as well. Something to think about when shopping for these.

The new cooper AT's might be a better fit and significantly less. They look pretty aggressive too with the sidewall change.

My F-250 had the Toyos on it when I bought it. I was to say the least very unimpressed with them. I just put a set of BFG on it.

Have a ‘17 F250 and put the RT’s on it early this yr. Have roughly 16-17k on them so far. Love them. Wearing well...look great and have performed well. I only get off road around the camp as needed but when I do they’ve been good. Will be the only tire I run on my rig.

Check out Dick Cepek ‘Trail Country EXP’.

It’s a hybrid AT/MT.

More aggressive than an all terrain.
Quieter than a mud tire.

Made in USA by Cooper.
45K mile warranty.
7 Lbs lighter than BFGs.

I got a set shipped to my house for about $550.

I like them better than my old BFGs.
