How many of these will the refs let Smith get away with?

My bigger worry is Apple. He had about eight holding/PI calls against him last year when the WR tried to run him over. He never moved, the WR literally ran into him and fell down or pushed off and he got called.

I hope CSP is working the refs hard before the game.

Doesn't matter if they don't mean to cause the penalty, but thanks for admitting the refs blew that call.

Yeah I have never seen a db get more bs penalties called on him like apple does.

Teddy almost got his head tore off in Seattle by what would have been (in my opinion) a targeting call, one one of his scrambles where he made the decision to slide almost a split second too late.

I agree with that no call on the Teddy slide. Teddy basically slid his head into the defender. There was nothing the defender really could have done and you don’t want to incentivize the offensive player seeking that out.

Yeah there was nothing to call as it happened, just saying that it was very close to a pretty devastating helmet-to-helmet. Defender definitely launched himself helmet first though. If he'd connected, I think they would've probably called it.

The refs are going to be easy on the Cowboys. You will not see some Game Changing Penalty that will completely reverse the fortunes of the Cowboys from winning to losing the game.
They are a HUGE market team and the game will be called accordingly.

IF the Saints are in danger of winning the game late, you will probably see some penalty or penalties to slow down the offense OR give a first down to the Cowboys, if the Cowboys are on offense.

But, the NFL hopes that the Cowboys can put the game away so that they don't need help from the Refs, and, of course, that could happen. I have picked the Dallas Cowboys to play the NE Patriots in the SB this season.
