re: Conservatives/Moderates in grad school

I know, but if conservatives would actually admit these things (they are true of uneducated, rural whites as well), people of color wouldn’t flock to the only party that acknowledges their history. Then we could have a conversation about really creating opportunity for all- via things like safe, green spaces and quality schools- not reparations and quotas. Can’t we all admit Baton Rouge would be better off in the long run if we built recreational facilities (included many for children only) throughout North BR and stationed cops there. What if states built safe bike trails around rural Appalachia? Liberals would flock there, and things like pinkberry Starbucks, etc. would follow.
