This is a good take, but we should give Teddy a few more weeks when we game plan the offense with him at the helm.

Not saying otherwise, but historically he has not been a cerebral QB. He’s been a thrower that was accurate. This has nothing to do with his race either. Warren Moon was the epitome of a cerebral QB as is Wilson over in Seattle.

Time will tell and he seem likely to be getting his shot. I just am not very optimistic.

I agree.

At the very least he's a serviceable backup while Brees is out. Given the fact that Sean seems to think he's the future, I think Teddy deserves a few starts before the deal is sealed.

Did you watch preseason? TB couldn't do shite against 2nd and 3rd teamers. He was out their like he didn't give a crap. TB was living on on easy street, stand there watching Drew.
