Agreed. Especially for a college town.

Although- do you think the Chimes is similar to these places? A lot of variety of beer, casual atmosphere, etc...

Chimes has selection largely via bottle, not as much tap as Bulldog, Gingerman, Flying Saucer. I love Chimes, remember when it was a bar that had reggae night, then evolved into a tavern/restraunt. A BR legacy, but not really like the others. I wish BR had a brewpub, that would be a strong add.

I haven't frequented anything in Southdowns since my gym membership died years ago, Thai Kitchen trips, and before that some Peppy's and Uncle Earl's nights in the '80s.

The Bulldog will be the first thing in there in decades that really draws me.
