I work with a niners fan who has/had high expectation for him last season because they ran the table against a bunch of bad teams plus Jacksonville after trading for him.

In regard to boog, he’s way better than witten, so it’s at least addition by subtraction. That said, he’s certainly not good enough to do color in what used to be the nfl’s premier time slot.
