Someone was talking about how "representative" TD/PT is, which is debatable, but it raises the question of whether any of the denizens of this august body are being included in polling.

Other than what was clearly a local "flash" poll regarding the Louisiana governor's race, I have not been contacted in the last 6 months for any political poll.

Anyone?

Since I cut my landline I don't think I've ever been called on my cell phone by a candidate.

What I want to know is who are the retards that actually answer the phone for these calls, and even moreso, who are the people that stick around and participate in whatever poll or survey is conducted.

Anyone I know or have ever been around when they receive robo-calls or obvious spam calls ignores the call or hangs up immediately.

In short: why do we base our perception of what candidate is in the lead on the opinions of people who are stupid enough to participate in polling calls?

3 times for state poll. could tell 2 were from Rispone's camp based on the poll questions

last one was sponsored by Garret Graves opponent as the questions were "if you knew Garret Graves vote to XXXX would that change your opinion of him...." type questions

I don’t answer calls from numbers not in my contact list and if they don’t leave a message then their reason for calling is not important. So I don’t know if I’ve been contacted or not.

I’ve only been polled once in my entire life and it was a push poll, not a real poll.

Besides, with all of the junk calls that everyone gets several times a day, most people don’t answer numbers they don’t recognize.

It is impossible in 2019 to do effective polling over the phone.

Impossible.
