How do I fix this? Splice??

you can get a piece at HD or lowes that you can slide each side of the wire into and screw together and it punctures the wire and fixes it.

Low voltage wire can be spliced. Use waterproof wire nuts and/or tape the shite out of the wire nuts.

Low voltage can be spliced. I would pickup a piece of heat shrink tubing to cover it. And try to remember where the break was so if lights go out you can check that spot first.

I have done that with my underground fence wire.
