Anyone here have properties listed on sites other than Airbnb? The city has been cracking down on some bs rules like refusal to allow guest to use a sofa bed(Even in commercial units that far exceed the size of a hotel suite) and its diminshing some of my rentals occupancy rates. Looking at the other sites to supplement but don't know much about them. Any suggestions>

Unless you find some underground site that doesn't care about getting in trouble with the city, not sure what you are able to do.

The city is hell bent on destroying the short term rental market. It's not just an Airbnb thing.

Latoya Cantrell hasn’t said anything about this. She has allowed Kristen Palmer to make a complete mess of the STR situation in Nola.
I really wish Nadine Ramsey was back in office. I can’t wait to vote both of them out of office.

There’s a good Planet Money podcast about it. From what I remember, it’s mainly about preserving culcha “even if it causes New Orleans to lose money.”

I have represented several clients in STR related issues. Good luck in your quest.
