Anyone have any experience with lens replacement vs lasik?

I understand that lens replacement, similar to cataract surgery, is an option for vision correction instead of lasik. I’m going to talk to a doctor obviously, but I’m doing a bit of research in advance.
I’ve searched online but mostly find info about cataract surgery. Anyone have any experience with this?

Lens replacement for cataracts worked for me. Had it done about 2 ears ago. I'm 69 and have wearing glasses since 4th. grade...no more. I've got 20-20 vision per DMV. Still use readers from time to time.

i heard it was ridiculous expensive and that is why its only done for cataracts since there is no other option, not sure about if thats factual though.
i would definitely be looking into it myself if its relatively affordable without insurance paying for it.
im legally blind in one eye because of blurred vision that can only be corrected with wearing glasses and contacts at the same time just to be able to see only one fixed point 15-20 feet away

I never realized they could replace your lens. That’s remarkable.

Just turned 50 and had cataract surgery last month due to steroid injections. Life changing with replacing lens. Wish I could so other eye now.

I had PRK through the military and I don’t have any complaints.
