I could see Fontenot pushing for a starting role next season. He has the "stuff" just hasn't had the consistency. If he can pitch even close to what he did tonight with any sort of regularity, he would definitely fight for a spot in the rotation, but the question becomes do you want him to be a long relief guy, a closer again, or a starter. I think he has the talent to succeed in any of those roles.

I wouldn’t expect Henry or hill next season judging off the past. Both appear to be lingering issues that we put of instead of getting fixed early.
