is there sound or something in the ads?
i already get bullshite on my regular roku so using that right screen space for shite i already ignore doesn't seem too bad
that right panel is just not a big deal to me

really?
i only have experience with chromecast and fireTVs but was interestied in trying out Roku since everyone seems to like them but that sucks to have that crap on screen all the time. i just want a generic android box i can run apps on.
i didn't know roku showed ads like that.

I have a roku ultra and a few TCL tvs with builtin rokus and they are all the exact same

I have the 65 inch TCL 6 series.
And if by ads he means the right window on the right that I just don’t even pay attention to then yes I guess it has ads.
But as soon as you go into any app or anything you don’t see them. Hell they don’t even interfere with you at all. Absolutely 100% a non issue to me.
