Everyone thinks that Morganza is the reason the for the increased in high water days north of BR and that increasing the flow would some how help. The issue is with the Old River Control Structure it’s what keeps NO and BR from being a salt water paradise.

I'm there..........Mine still in place too. I moved it last year but not this year. Last year we only had about an inch or 2 around ours. In 2016 the previous owner pulled it out but said he would have been OK that was @ 52.13'

If y'all want something cool to read, go check out a few of the links in the OT-Thread.

I didn't know much about the ORCS but there is a ton to read about it and the implications of its failure.
