I liked the old Box vs. new Box. Wish they would have renovated it as well.

Is it just me, or has the overall passion of the fans in general shifted to a more civil and milder tone? Seems like the fans of yesteryear were more raucous than of the ones today. Why is that?

I went to the Old Box several times. I think what most people actually miss is the spirit and the type of ball played during that time.

LSU was mashers which in a lot of ways fit the personalities of a lot of those beer drinking fans that filled those seats.

As the game tried to expand and the parks took on new looks the AD then marketed the game to companies and families.
