And for a long time this was a regular part of soccer. Not that it NEVER happened in American sports, but only in soccer was it a regular integrated part of the game. Europe is gay and feminine as hell so they were cool with it. Americans would've never tolerated it.
Then some Euro trash figgots from Europe who grew up playing gay, gay, gay soccer had pituitary disorders so they got in the NBA and started doing it there. And in the pussy age we live in American players have slowly begun to embrace it. And of course NFL players watched the NBA and we have a pussy society now (a few decades ago this would've never been tolerated) so it spread
So congrats, soccer is such a shitty sport that it actively ruins other actual good sports and you're part of the pussification of America

Most of those clubs like Livorno and Lazio still operate the normal way.
Not many clubs like Athletic Bilbao that only fields players trained in the basque region.
