Reggie Bush ran a 10.42 100m in HS, then ran a 4.33 forty at his Pro Day.

Devin Hester also ran a 10.42 100m, but ran a 4.41 at the NFL Combine.

Those sub-4.5 numbers should translate similarly for Trey Palmer, but yet his 247 profile page says he ran a 4.51 forty laser-timed at the Opening.

Trey's forty is the same as 240lbs Leonard Fournette's 4.51 at the NFL combine who ran a 10.68 100m in HS Class 4A Regional.

I gotta figure Palmer is normally sub 4.5.

Pic is from the 200 meter awards. Kid on the left is Caemon Scott. Track only as far as I know. Looks like he may have broken the state record 1A in the 200 though I am not certain the wind cutoff. Wind was 1.1 mph.

100 meter
Class A state record 10.34 1985 James Andrews, Kentwood’
Overall state record 10.20 1980 Rod Richardson, Fair Park 4A
1 raymontre Palmer Kentwood 10.42
2 Theodore Knox Southern Lab 10.72
3 Adrion Hardwell Haynesville 10.92

200 meter record
Class A state record 21.36 1985 James Andrews, Kentwood
Overall state record 20.58 2002 Johnathan Wade, Evangel 5A
1 raymontre Palmer Kentwood 21.11
2 Theodore Knox Southern Lab 21.69
3 Caemon Scott Lafayette Christian 22.20

ETA Scott is a sophomore.

Back in the day, it was 220 yds. It's a stud event - especially when it's the second race of the daily double with the 100M.

Palmer is going to be hard to keep off the field and that's acknowledging that there's a helluva lot of talent in front of him. He's just so smooth and fast. Makes him hard to cover.
