I haven’t lived in Louisiana in awhile, but are there laws about state employees publicly being a part of campaign events (not supporting a candidate in general but official campaign events & promotions or Ads)?
I’m a state employee and every political season we get the emails from HR reminding us that it is explicitly forbidden to participate in political campaigning of any kind.
The question though is Orgeron a state employee in the traditional sense or is he technically classified in some way that exempts him from the rank and file employee political campaign restrictions?
