re: What is the most gruesome injury you have ever witnessed?

I had the Tennessee was it? running back thing happen to my knee when I was 18. Sounded like a .22 went off when it happened. Two players I was playing with, who got the best view of it, immediately vomited. Just about the entire back half of my leg, from my ankle to my arse cheek, turned black and blue for weeks.

ETA: Holy shite! Just read through this thread. Mine was a severe hangnail in comparison. Jesus.
