I took a calc class in the summer at LSU, it was like drinking water through a firehose to me, real fast, had to actually go home and study to keep up

Nah, summer/shorter semesters are easier for procrastinators. Semesters are way to damn long. 5 week courses are where its at

2001 is Gen Physics. Same physics that biology majors take.

When I did it 1201 was for physics majors, 2101 was for engineers, and I guess 2001 was for others.

I got that degree in 1997, so forever ago.

Do you remember which prof you had? Did you take it within the last few years? Again, it’s an online summer class. Hope I’m not messing up by going this route.

Never be afraid of physics at lsu. The reputation of being difficult comes from people not good at math and science.

Yeah, that’s actually what I was hoping was the case. Heard the same thing about Anatomy and about certain professors, but didn’t have a problem. I guess it just depends who you ask,,,kind of like on Rate My Professor. Appreciate the help

Anybody take PHY 2001 online through LSU? Thinking about trying to knock it out during the summer.

Take Rupnik. I hear she’s a real treat.

Had her for 2101 (I think). Can’t imagine that in the summer.

I hated all physics at LSU but mine was for science majors which I think was 1201, did ok in high school with honors... but basically I just hated physics period, B or C both semesters I think.... I never put in the time for physics though... it just sucks. I got an A in calculus 1550 by the grace of god, bartering, and graphing calculator.

Isn't that physical science? Pretty sure a fourth grader could pass that
