It would be a blowout victory of 294 electoral votes based on the strong economy and incumbency.

How Trump is on track for a 2020 landslide

Don’t jinx us. Lots can happen between now and then. Unhinged leftist thugging it up with MSM approval is a safe bet for now.

294 is less than 2016.

294 EC votes would be extremely close historically.

I think Trump surpasses 55% of the vote and goes over 300 electoral votes. He's not as unpopular with everyone as the liberal media is portraying

But he only got 46.1% of the vote against Hillary Clinton. Obama won in a landslide in 2008 and didn’t even get 53% of the vote. He may win, but it’s highly unlikely he gets even close to 55% of the popular vote. If he did, then he would get far more than 300 EC votes.

I love how that article just goes on and on about how unpopular Trump is when Obama had pretty similar numbers in 2011 and they would have never framed any article about his reelection like that.

That and the field of Dem candidates is a joke. This far left swing the party has taken is not going to go over in flyover land.

2020 is a bit unpredictable right now... I think if the left goes full Bernie or some other socialist than Trump will win approaching Reagan/Mondale territory. This will happen especially if Schultz runs third party. If Joe Biden becomes the nominee than I think it will be much of the same as it was with Hillary. The DNC and most Democrats won't admit it ,but the party is split worse than the Republican Party was post George Bush until 2016. If the Democrats were smart they would cut the socialist out of their party like the cancer they are ,but they probably will end up going full crazy and then getting absolutely crushed. I don't believe there is a significant portion of the United States that will elected a proclaimed socialist in a general election.

I'd be willing to bet it's because she had the political name recognition while Trump had no real political experience prior to running, so all of the people who vote, but don't watch the MSM just went with the name they recognized.

In 2020, Trump has massive political achievements and experience from the first term. Despite the MSM going after him 24/7, a great deal of the population sees right through their bullshite and understands that he is actually doing most of what he campaigned on. He will win the popular vote by a nice margin, especially if those pesky illegals can't vote in Cali, and have 300+ EC votes. I'm extremely confident in that.

because he never wasted his time in blue states he knew would not flip

in that case he could have gotten more % wise but knew it was not needed as it was not a popular vote it is an EC

California skews that number. In the other 49 states total, Trump got over 50%.

Thank god for the EC.

It’s going to be great if he wins the popular vote watching those blue states who gave the finger to the electoral college cast all their votes for Trump.

This.

I think Trump wins if the economy is as healthy as it is now. If it falters into recession, he is toast.

Because nothing says roaring economy like putting a Green New Deal supporting imbecile in office.

It will be bigger than that. There's events coming that he's not accounting for.

How many republicans don’t bother voting in California, New York and other places because it wouldn’t matter? Now that Dems are trying to make national popular vote determine state electoral votes, those people have motivation to get to the polls.
