Fine to plant now. I planted my tomato's two weeks ago and cucumber seeds yesterday. I also had an unexpected surprise. Some of my tomato plants in the fall had some of the fruit fall on the ground. Well when I was in the backyard picking weeds this morning I noticed 10 or so small plants I thought were weeds, but they were actually different tomato plants. I pulled them out the ground and placed in containers. Now I have a crap load of tomato plants. Guess I'll need a few more 5 gallon buckets.

Watch out though if they were hybrids last year the resulting seeds likely wont produce much. If they were heirloom they should be fine to grow this year.
