Ok the joke is over guys. Y’all got me good but for real coach needs to be at practice today. We got a championship to go win.

Can't get cleared by the joint investigation without meeting with the joint investigation. That won't happen until sometime after 4/22.

I wish they were reinstating him. We are a 3 seed in the tournament and this entire saga has just taken all the joy out of it for me.

Thanks Alleva and F King

The fact that the administration would piss away this great season tells me all I need to know about how little they care about the fans.

That ship is out of Westeros, and unless some savvy witchcraft he is a lost soul at LSU

Right now the focus needs to be on finding an interim AD who is qualified and who isn't interested in the position long-term.

Alleva already destroyed this magical season. Let's get someone with a brain in the athletic department and allow him or her to make decisions until a permanent AD is hired next year.

I will say this.....it has been awfully quiet the last 3 days. Makes you wonder what is going on. Last Friday, I was 100% convinced he was gone, but now I have a glimmer of hope (not much, but a glimmer).

Both sides have apparently drawn public lines in the sand and it's been a complete embarrassment the way it's been handled. BOS members are happily running to the media with "leaks". Wade's side is leaking info to the media. Alleva, yet again, seems to be lost somewhere in the middle. Lawyers for LSU are not so subtlety implying that Wade is "guilty" or at least won't deny any wrong doing. Clearly, the lawyers have become pissy with each other which doesn't help the situation.

I don't know if I've ever seen a situation where the school and coach became so adverse to each other so quickly and LSU's weak administration hasn't put a stop to the pissing match.

I'm not defending Wade necessarily, but this whole episode shows a complete void in leadership at LSU.

I realize it's a joke. But, it's already too late to bring him in.

Coaching is going to end LSU's season. I'll be very nervous in the first close game we are in.

Here is my opinion on this whole thing. Wade wants to see what they will ask him in court and what exactly is in those tapes that is going to be made public knowledge. He doesnt want to answer questions that may never come to light under the current fbi investigation. Once that invstigation is over he knows what they have on him exactly and how to proceed moving forward. So right now LSU doesnt know more than has been released and neither does the NCAA, Wade is at an impass because LSU is requiring his side of things before moving forward. He will be out till he is done in court, and we won’t know until then what is going to happen with his coaching status. LSU looks to be trying to cross every t and dot every i as far as compliance goes.

It has been so quiet recently. I think the NCAA is packing up their bags and heading out. They don’t have shite on us. That’s why Smart played.

It would be unforgivable to not allow him to coach and lead the team he built in the tournament.

If anyone is interested, I set up a bracket group on ESPN named Free Will Wade 28582.

It's obvious the "good news" is that Orgeron is getting a raise and a contract extension to keep other athletic directors from hiring him away from LSU....
