32 here, 2014 Ram, no tickets or accidents

I’ve used USAA for 10 years now. My current coverage is 100/300/100, UM, and 100/comprehensive, 500 collision. $1200/6 months.

I just got a few quotes and for the same coverage, progressive-$722, geico-$936.

How is it dealing with these 2 companies? I’ve never had a claim, but I’ve heard that USAA is amazing to work with. But I doubt it’s $1k a year better.

That seems really high to me. Currently carry geico and have no complains. I’ve had to open up 2 claims over the last 3 years since joining them, and it’s been an easy process.

Had liberty mutual for years, shopped one day to check competitors, and progressive was the same coverage at a savings of more than $1800/year.

They're all pretty good on the claims side. It's surprising USAA is that high. They're typically very competitive. You're positive it's the same everything?

Inadvertent downvote.

I ageee with Geico’s claim process. I’ve had 3 over 5 years and it’s very easy. I check rates every 6 months and they continue to be the least expensive.

We have used Geico for about 8yrs - never had any issues with claims whether our fault or not.

i pay just under $360 per year for insurance through usaa. 100/300/100 with UM and 1000 deductible.

no accidents. no tickets either.

which state are you located in?

one company that is rated really highly (go back and forth with usaa on top insurance provider) is amica. may be worth a shot. don't believe geico rates high.

Been with usaa for about 18 years and will start shopping soon as well. They have gone up substantially in the past two years on home and auto.

We use Geico for auto and ANPAC for home, still cheaper than the combined rates from a single company.

Just switched from USAA to Geico.

USAA kept climbing. My latest renewal was $280/month for a 4 year old car and 9 year old small SUV. All the same coverage you listed.

Geico is $157/month for all the same.

We use Tommy Hebert with Liggio Insurance. We have our home and auto through them and he shopped around and saved us quite a bit of money when we switched a couple years ago.

i was with usaa for 22 years and recently changed. in my case the vehicle rates were about the same but the homeowners was alot less...like half. I still use USAA for my everyday checking but i am about to pull everything else i have with them. they have really gone downhill.
