Really surprised she's willing to do it considering who her constituents are.

It merely means the Catholic religion is nothing but a social club.

I think I will identify as Catholic next week, want to score one of those horse head hats.

Catholics have been excommunicated for far less than Pelosi supports. She should have been cut loose a long time ago.

Please do not write off Catholicism just because of one person's actions. The action of one person does not define any religion, organization, government, or company as a whole. Nor do those things control or define that person. Nancy Pelosi is not a good person, but writing off the Catholic faith is not the answer. Being proud Christians and being the good examples a Christian needs to be should be our response.

Also, please don't forget that many other Christian Faith's have adopted the practice of giving out ashes on ash Wednesday. She could have gotten those ashes at many other churches, not just a Catholic one.

God bless all. Say a prayer to end abortion and to open the hearts and minds of our politicians.

Read the 30 years of work by Fritz Springmeier... Satanists permeate US Government. They are also taught to hide first in Christian Ministry as that's the place they are least likely to be found and it's the place they can do the most damage... No one wants to believe how evil the evil people are. Look up what Nicole Kidman said famed Director Stanley Kubrick told her "runs the world"

I'm not. I don't worship the Pope, I worship Jesus Christ Crucified. From the beginning Jesus faced bitter opposition from the Sanhedrin (notice I didn't say Jews) because, 1) Jesus claimed to be the son of God - a blasphemous act in the minds of his enemies, 2) Jesus claimed to have the power to forgive sin, and 3) Jesus transmitted that power to His Church in the person of Peter. This power was not transmitted universally but to a specific individual ("....thou art Peter, and it is upon this rock that I will build MY church; and the gates of hell shall not not prevail against it." - Matthew 16:18). So without a doubt the Catholic Church IS the church which Jesus established. To put it bluntly, denial of this truth is denial of God, since this TRUTH is clearly stated in the Bible. Remember this....the enemies of Christ opposed Jesus of Nazareth because they claimed he was just a man. Today the enemies of the Catholic Church resist Jesus because He is just bread. Think about this.In the mind of the unbeliever what is more absurd. God becoming man, or God becoming living bread? Jesus is truly the Bread of Life.

Furthermore, before the Bible came into mass circulation after the invention of the Gutenberg press, there was the authority. The Bible is a child of that "one" authority. The fact is the Catholic Church has existed for 2000 years. Sure there was more than a few bumpy roads along the way, including that nasty Luther led Reformation in 1517. But to my knowledge there is no other institution that claims to be the "True Church of Jesus Christ" that has existed that long.

So I suggest you ignore Nancy Pelosi. She must answer to God for her sins and you and I must answer to God for ours. But knowing the "Truth" will set you free. As for me, I'm sticking with my Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. It's Lent. I suggest you engage in sacrificial acts and pray to God for knowledge of truth. I believe that simple act of humility will lead you to the One, Holy, and Apostolic Catholic Church.

Gloria Patri.
