I think it shows that he is out to try to get paid (which he should be) but not really committed to the sport or team. It’s all about him. We have seen a long list of busts and washouts with this mentality.

Our fans are absolutely delusional. He has a child, a small child. He doesn't have money either.

Are you telling me, that if you were in his position, with your whole future on the line, would you really risk it all for a bowl game?

Would you really risk millions of dollars for a bowl game that doesn't even matter? Yes I was upset that he didn't play, but he did what was best for him and his family. It doesn't make him a bad person, he did what he thought was best.

To answer the question of grade, he would get a B.

People were lowering his grade due to questions about his speed, he proved them that he has speed. The stuff he struggled with could be tought easily in the NFL.

There is no personal vendetta. Could not really care less.

99.8% of college athletes competed in their respective bowl games and finished their career. 99.9% of the combine invitees completed all opportunities to impress the scouts.

Greedy’s tweet to Devin White the day before after Devin had a successful 40 was telling. He recommended Devin not compete in the rest of the drills after his quality 40. Of course Devin is man enough not to take such advice and competed in all and did not shy away from competition.

It is likely that Greedy is getting bad advice. But if I am an NFL GM, which obviously I am not. But I would think twice about investing a lot of money in him at this point in the upper 1st round because he is not showing that he is grabbing the bull by the horns and earning his spot like others by taking every opportunity to compete and win. He is essentially expecting it to be given and playing “not to lose” instead of “ playing to win and take it.”

That risk is so minor that the answer for me is yes. Same as most every other top player. Most elite players have some sense of loyalty and brotherhood to the team. I think it will affect his draft position as well and cost him some money.

but regardless, I do wish him the best in the NFL and will always be a fan of his. Just think he got some bad advice.
