Agree about the size as the end result. However, a kid like this one, for instance, isn't already 300-310 with plus athleticism. He's got the athleticism and will gain the bulk as it naturally fits him. Sure there are 310 lb kids out their that can bend and explode in the pass rush but not that many considering the amount of schools looking for them.

I used Jonathan Allen as an example and he's the ideal one. This a kid that was playing standing up in HS at 255-260 and even was initially recruited as a Jack. Got to Bama bulked up to 300-305 and turned into the exact type of player I'm talking about. Just better flexibility and natural athleticism than traditional DT body types.

Agree about Chiasson and the impact he could have on this problem. Think Shelvin could impact this as well if he can man the Nose allowing Feihoko to play DE. As Lawrence, love the guy but unless he plays better than he ever has I don't see it. The way he played in the bowl was impressive but that's an outlier in terms of the rest of the season save a few flashes. The UCF line doesn't exactly meet the standards of the ones he faces in the biggest games that will determine our season.

I'm not gonna go all in to this but man.. Rashard Lawrence is a monster. People expecting a 3-4 DE to get 10 sacks a year just dont understand the position. Hes awesome at disrupting plays in the backfield. The pass rushing is getting there. Not everyone is JJ Watt though.
