That was an insanely frustrating half of basketball

The worst three point shooting team in the SEC was on fire from three and from the field in general. They had some garbage shots somehow go in.
Almost every miss they did have, they rebounded. Garbage shots going in. Two free throw misses had lane violations that led to subsequent makes. A BS technical. Under a minute left and the UGA 58% FT shooter hits 2, while our 86% FT shooter goes 1/2.
Glad to get out with the W but damn that was frustrating as all hell.

Yeah, like in football, we seem to play down to our opponent. Every game is a nailbiter. I don't understand it but we're 21-4, 11-1 and that's all that really matters. Can't wait for March Madness.

Man that was a fantastic half! They stayed in it for sure, but like you said it was just from alot of lucky things happening for them. No matter what Georgia sharted in we always stayed ahead of them by raw talent/technique. The defense was fun to watch tonight

True. I’m just not ready for it yet with LSU basketball. We always have been dealing with getting the best performances from opposing football and baseball teams. Basketball was always my reprieve from those maddening occurrences

If Georgia had a quality point guard they would be a competitive team.

No doubt, but I think the OP is mostly frustrated by UGA playing out of their skin compared to the rest of their season. From that standpoint, I get it.
After Crean's comments last week, it wouldn't have been a surprise to see UGA give a lackluster effort, but they played tough.
