With the Practice Facility being less than 9 years old (Opened 9/10) and built adjacent to the PMAC, I do not think building a new facility is the best option. Yes, it may cost more money initially, but renovating the current facility would be best. The location is great, infrastructure is there, the biggest problem is interior layout. Facilities built in similar time to the PMAC in the SEC were renovated or are being renovated and have all the modern amenities as new arenas(O'Connell Center @ Florida 2016, Stegeman@Georgia 2010, Thomson Boling@Tennessee 2018, etc)

I just don't see them demoing the PMAC. The structure is in great shape and could accommodate all kinds of different renovation options.

Right but if you go the route of moving stuff to the river center for a season then you just build the new arena where the old one was... Then you get to keep the practice facility
