what's his story. he signed with Tejas. did we recruit him?
by the way, he's the only Louisiana player that signed with either Tejas or Aggie. looks like O is doing a good job keeping the coaches to the west out of La.

Its TEXAS you arse, we beat the Mexicants at the battle of san Jacinto

LSU recruited him and showed a lot of interest in him just before the first signing period. I believe he even visited. But LSU disn't offer, and Texas did. Just my speculation, but had he waited, LSU may have eventually offered.
He has intriguing upside, but I think the problem is that he is viewed as a bit of a tweener. Not quite the size to play a 5 tech DE in a 3-4, but apparently, not ideal speed for an OLB edge rusher, either. Then again, Texas operates a 3-4, so what do I know.

This, but Texas will probably use him with hand in ground in the big 12 even in a 3-4. I dont see him as a stand up player.
We want bigger DEs. Texas sometimes uses smaller DEs in their 3-4, Hager a starting DE was only 6'3 255 as a senior. Marquez Bimage behind him was only 6'2 255.

He racked up a ton of stats against really bad football teams and there's no way in hell he's close to his listed 6'3" 240.
Staff had concerns about his size/frame after seeing him in person. Not fast enough to play rush LB and LSU likes bigger DEs.

Led by Sam Houston, Mexicans ran like scared rabbits. Battle lasted about 20 minutes.

I think the one LSU missed on was Matt Anderson 6-5 285 OT out of Leesville that signed with Nebraska. Good size and athletic with upside.

That's a good 1 pops and can't argue there

Myron weighed in on Texas visit at 6’3 247 lbs that’s while playing basketball.
Extremely athletic and his beat attribute is his speed. That’s where LSU dropped the ball. Texas got his 40.
4star talented guy that Texas valued basically living at his school.
It worked out well for both sides he gets to go to the Sugar Bowl champs and be a part of top 3 signing class. LSU did fine as well being a top 5 class although they swung and missed on DE and ended up just settling for the 3 star on signing day.

We were hoping to land 2-3 bigger fish than this kid. Ended up getting skunked. Hindsight is 20/20.
That 3 star DE we settled for has more upside. Potentially another Sam Montgomery.

We didnt like the fact he didn’t use capital letters in his name.

Myron is much much better player. 4 star that Herman had as top Priority.
LSU got stood up by guys they were never gonna get. They just offered a undersized three star to fill class.
Herman is recruiting speed and they did their homework They out recruited A&M and his other top schools.
LSU missed out on another 4star just like they did Entienne.

Yes they should consult you before offering.

Maybe in 3 or 4 years he could play in the SEC, but right now he has some glaring weaknesses. Has trouble with players his size, doesn't move his feet quick enough to block outside speed rushers. He has good footwork and gets his hips turned and is fairly athletic, just not SEC caliber. I think the linemen LSU signed are all much better than Anderson and have more potential.

?? He’s in a much better situation. No question

We’re all invaders except The natives. Stolen land.

Thank you....it's Texas. Tejas means friendly in native American language.
