If I dont Like the job the coach is doing I’m gonna say it.

He isn’t the pope of LSU football. You can separate the 2.

I think LSU is raising O to new heights in his career and O imtook LSU back to its average record since 2005

So you want Orgeron to get 6.5 million a year, a full 2mil/yr more than LSU paid Miles?

Just to see some strangers on the internet complain?

Weird flex, but ok.

What makes you think he isn't?

If Orgerons team goes 10-3 again and theoffense looks bad, you don't think he will be under fire?

Oh yeah he’s under so much pressure he’s getting an extension.

I think You and I agree that next year is the year he needs to really do something.

It’s kinda the money ball year.

Even 11-2 would be a bit disappointing.

The constant blasting of the current coach is disturbing...ESP when a poster still brings up the former coach just to defend him.... Sorry bud but Ricky is just a sad human being that loves LES and hates O..... Go read some of his posts....

You're ignorant to the business side of things.

Many coaches have been fired a year or two after signing an extension.

As do I.... But there are a few posters on here that take A major offense to it when it came to Miles..... NOW O is not my guy for the future........ But if he does well I will be happy because that means LSU is doing well...... Believe it or not.... There are certain posters on here that would rather see LSU LOSE just to get rid of O.....

Ricky has made thousands of posts putting down everything Orgeron related. What do you think his point really is? It's all he does.

This is what I don't understand. What makes you think that others don't feel this exact same way? What makes them different and want O to lose? How does that make any sense at all?

andnmoney schools have paid millions in buyouts

Likemisnaid befoee common practice doesn’t make it good practice.

Many banks gave subprime mortgages.

O isn’t a typical coach. At this point I dont Think there is a demand for him. We’re negotiating against ourself. In the best case scenario we are giving him a raise and new contract next year. Worst case scenario we just upped his buyout and are back to owing him 9 mill in 2 years when it becomes apparent it’s time to cut bait.

That's completely bogus.

That Orgeron hasn't really done anything so far that the previous coach didn't do. I happen to disagree about this past season because I think it's better due to the close losses. I understand the line of thinking though and don't in anyway think it means anyone hates the coach or wants him to lose. That is absolutely absurd.

Money is all fungible.

If booater want to put their dollars into firing the coach fine, but they probably would want to put their money into something else if they could

Exactly. Is terribly low salary make any comparisons to top 10 coaches silly

Because teams are willing to poach other coaches. Those buyouts are to keep them from leaving, not to keep them from being fired.

Can you list me top 30 programs, or, perhaps an NFL team, that wants Orgeron?

I'll be patient.

If they do it's very, very few. The best way I know to answer that question is with another question. Do you think people sitting at home watching the game or in TS actually get mad when LSU scores a touchdown or makes a great play?

They absolutely exist.

I'm not sure Ricky's one, but he spends all of his posts here trying to minimize the image anyone has of Orgeron.

Some would rather be right than win. They're in the minority, but exist.

Is it really anyone or is it the ones that say Coach O is "crushing it" or that he had a "great" season? Granted I don't read every post and every thread, but that's what I see is a dispute with the ones that go over the top with the praise.
