I had a similar moment with the NBA when the Suns got robbed multiple times against the Spurs. After the last time, I may have watched a grand total of 3 games in at least 5 years.

The NFL's ironclad, regimented control is what started my disinterest.

Anyone should be able to be critical of the game, including players and coaches.

However, the power trust of the "no fun league" completely controls all aspects of their product.

The white washing, which started a while ago now, initiated my disinterest in this bullshite league.

They care more about the advertisers rather than the players and fanbases.

Very sad. BTW, please note the helmet to helmet shots on Kamara, two other times with no call. Just a coincidence I guess.

Absolutely. The two that got me were Joe Johnson getting fouled(easy flagrant) and breaking his orbital bone on the floor... I don't remember if there was even a foul called. Took a huge piece of the Suns out.

The final straw was Manu Ginobili tripping over his own foot with less than a minute left and no Sun within reach... foul on Suns, free throws, ball game. Done.

Sorry to open that wound, bro. I just thought I would help bring some peace to know that they actually were in fact cheated by the referees

It is sad to see the "Rule of Law" die....in Our Country and also in the most popular sport in Our Country.

Without the Rule of Law, we are doomed.

I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Sometime during the past, I used to believe some professional sports were fixed. With medication and time, i thought I had resolved that belief. But today, I am not so sure. Makes me question what I observe in sports and in what things I consider honest and truthful.

I feel exactly the same way. I have no faith that there is any intergraty in NFL games anymore.

Bountgate already did that for me.

Our team won a Superbowl and then went on a tear and was set up to be a dynasty and the NFL fricked our entire franchise into the ground and tainted all of our success as a PR move. That was a very clear message.

This no call hasn't ruined my love of football. But it has made me completely hate the NFL. After bounty game I was angry. After last night I'm now full of hatred and disgust.

The Rams are going to be good and relevant for years to come. This was our fricking year. We will probably be decent next season but I think this was our last legit chance.

I know we have the 28-3 shite and Cam now diving for the ball, but look at the heart breaking losses we have and all the gifs they can throw in our face. The Min miracle gif posted all the damn time. Now the douche frick rams doing to bike dance posted non stop. Bruh... frick.

Sadly I agree with this and it’s not just because of this game but numerous games over the years where the outcome was apparently determined by either biased or bad officiating.

I won’t be watching the SB and doubt I’ll have more than a passing interest in the NFL in the future. I feel like I’ve lost something I used to really enjoy. But the fact is that that enjoyment has been waning for quite a while. The rule changes of the last few years have changed both the college and pro games and put the referees into more situations where their calls or non calls in this case determine the outcome of the game.

Simply put the rule changes have changed the game to the point where this is no longer the game I knew and loved since my childhood. Money and ESPN have ruined sports and it’s time for me to move on and find some new interest. Ultimately I think I’ll be a better person by walking away. I’m done.

The officiating and the way rules have been implemented over the past decade really is taking the fun out of it. It's not just this game or call. Its every ticky tack call it every tv timeout its everytime you watch holding and PI calls get "interpretted". I'm not done as a fan but something needs to change. It used to be fun to watch win or lose even though the losses hurt it was still fun. That hasn't been there for me in a long time

Between this and the piss poor officiating in the LSU/A&M game I’ve officially just given up. There is no rhyme or reason to any call or non call. It’s like the refs don’t know what to do anymore and they’ve just given up. The biggest beef is that they poke their chest out and act like they can do no wrong. That interview with Vinovich yesterday was fricking maddening.
